Channel 0 Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of the Channel 0 mobile application ("Channel 0" or the "App").
Channel 0 is operated by Unakin Ltd ("Unakin", "we", "us" or "our").
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should
not use the App.

1. About Channel 0
   Channel 0 is a mobile entertainment app that provides short-form cinematic true-crime and mystery content.
   The App may include dramatised stories, reconstructed scenes, fictionalised dialogue, editorial interpretation,
   archive-inspired visuals and other creative content. Channel 0 is provided for entertainment and informational
   purposes only.

2. Eligibility
   You must be at least 13 years old to use Channel 0.
   If you are under 13, you must not create an account or use the App.
   By using Channel 0, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that you are legally able to agree to these
   Terms.

3. Your account
   To use some features of Channel 0, you may need to create an account.
   You may create an account using your email address and password, or by using Google sign-in where available.
   You are responsible for:
   • Providing accurate account information
   • Keeping your login details secure
   • All activity that happens through your account
   • Letting us know if you believe your account has been accessed without permission
   We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, misused
   the App or created risk for Channel 0, other users or Unakin.

4. Account deletion
   You can initiate account deletion from inside the App by going to:
   Settings -> Delete Account
   When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your account information and associated personal data in
   accordance with our Privacy Policy, unless we are legally required to keep certain information.

5. Privacy
   Your use of Channel 0 is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store and share
   information.
   You should read the Privacy Policy carefully before using the App.

6. App content
   All content available through Channel 0, including videos, images, scripts, designs, text, branding, logos, artwork,
   software, user interface elements and other materials, is owned by us or licensed to us.
   You may use the App and view its content for your own personal, non-commercial use only.
   You must not:
   • Copy, download, record, reproduce or redistribute App content except where expressly allowed by us
   • Sell, rent, license or commercially exploit App content
   • Modify, edit or create derivative works from App content
   • Remove copyright, trademark or other rights notices
   • Use App content in a way that suggests endorsement by Channel 0 or Unakin
   • Use automated tools to scrape, extract or copy content from the App

7. True-crime and dramatised content
   Channel 0 may include content based on real events, public records, reporting, historical material or creative
   interpretation.
   Although we aim to treat sensitive subject matter responsibly, Channel 0 is not a legal, investigative, journalistic,
   medical or safety service. You should not rely on the App as a complete or authoritative account of any real-world
   event.

8. No user-generated public content
   Channel 0 does not currently allow users to post public comments, upload public content, create public profiles, send
   messages to other users or participate in public forums.
   If we add user-generated content features in the future, we may update these Terms to include additional rules.

9. Acceptable use
   You agree not to use Channel 0 in any way that:
   • Breaks the law
   •
   Infringes someone else's rights
   • Harasses, threatens or harms another person
   • Attempts to gain unauthorised access to the App or our systems
   •
   Interferes with the security, operation or availability of the App
   • Uses bots, scrapers or automated tools without permission
   • Attempts to reverse engineer, decompile or copy the App
   • Uploads or transmits viruses, malware or harmful code
   • Misuses support channels or makes false reports

10. Push notifications
    If you allow push notifications, we may send you notifications about new episodes, new cases, App updates or other
    relevant Channel 0 content.
    You can turn off push notifications at any time through your device settings.

11. Payments and subscriptions
    Channel 0 does not currently offer paid subscriptions or paid premium content.
    If we introduce paid features, subscriptions or in-app purchases in the future, we will update these Terms where
    needed. Any paid digital content or subscription made available through the iOS App will be handled through Apple's
    in-app purchase system where required.

12. App Store terms
    If you download Channel 0 through the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also subject to Apple's applicable
    terms, including Apple's standard licensed application end user licence agreement unless a custom licence
    agreement applies.
    Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Channel 0.

13. Third-party services
    The App may use third-party services to help us provide features such as authentication, app infrastructure, analytics,
    diagnostics, notifications and purchase or entitlement infrastructure.
    Your use of some third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

14. Changes to the App
    We may update, change, suspend or discontinue parts of Channel 0 at any time.
    We may also add, remove or change content, features or availability without notice.
    We are not responsible if any part of the App or any content becomes unavailable.

15. Intellectual property
    "Channel 0", the Channel 0 branding, App design, content, visual identity and related materials are owned by Unakin
    Ltd or licensed to us.
    Nothing in these Terms gives you ownership of any intellectual property rights in the App or its content.
    You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App in accordance
    with these Terms.

16. Feedback
    If you send us feedback, suggestions or ideas about Channel 0, you agree that we may use them without restriction
    or compensation to you.

17. Disclaimers
    Channel 0 is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
    We do not guarantee that:
    • The App will always be available
    • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free

    • All content will be complete, accurate or up to date
    • The App will meet your expectations
    • Defects or bugs will always be fixed immediately
    Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

18. Limitation of liability
    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unakin Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential
    or punitive loss or damage arising from your use of Channel 0.
    Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or
    personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

19. Termination
    You may stop using Channel 0 at any time.
    We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms,
    created risk for us or others, or misused the App.
    After termination, provisions of these Terms that are intended to continue will remain in effect, including intellectual
    property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law.

20. Changes to these Terms
    We may update these Terms from time to time.
    If we make material changes, we may notify you through the App or by other appropriate means.
    The latest version of these Terms will be available through the App and/or our website.
    By continuing to use Channel 0 after the Terms are updated, you agree to the updated Terms.

21. Governing law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
    The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms, unless
    applicable consumer protection laws give you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
